Milkhouse Candles uses a proprietary blend of pure beeswax and natural soy wax made from soybeans which are grown in the Midwest. Purchasing our wax from the Midwest allows us to make our candles in the U.S. and support local farmers.
The soy wax blend is eco-friendly and is Non-GMO with no pesticides or herbicides used in any part of the cultivation of the soy. The soybeans are a renewable resource.
Soy wax is non-toxic and does not release soot or carcinogens when it melts. Best of all, soy wax is biodegradable.
Fragrance
Soy wax has a tendency to enhance fragrances. This means soy candles have a much richer smell than other candles. They have a purer fragrance than paraffin wax candles which contain chemicals known to give people headaches.
