Small Space Loading Platforms For Any Job

For companies finding the right type of loading platforms to meet limited space options can be challenging. There are solutions to this very common problem, and, with the option to add a range of different features.

Design and Installation

One of the most important considerations for smaller sized loading platforms is the efficiency of the design. They need to meet all required safety standards but also be very economical. Using modular types of designs offer a viable way to lower the cost of these loading platforms while still providing enough flexibility so they work in a wide range of locations.

Generally a modular option allows you to add to the basic loading platforms without having to go to the expense of custom design. Each modular component will fit and work with the standard platform design.

Standard Design Components

Safety is key in all standard designs of loading platforms regardless of their size. A pedestal design takes up much less space than a scaffold type of design but it is also very secure and structurally sound. Stairs to access the platform are designed with safety handrails and non-slip surfaces. In addition the platform itself has safety handrails, knee bars and non-slip grating.

The platform is designed to drain any accumulated moisture away, limiting any type of corrosion. Galvanised construction materials further add to the durability and rust and corrosion resistance.

Additional Features on Loading Platforms

For customized or specialized types of loading requirements additional variations are possible based on the standard modular design. These include elevated platforms up to five meters over the standard height, which may also include an intermediate landing to meet safety regulations.

Additional access with folding stairs or angled steps, all weather canopies for outdoors use, and the option to install loading arms and other equipment are all possible features to consider.
